Clancy Environmental Consultants, Inc. occupies a unique niche in the water environment industry. Led by Dr. Jennifer Clancy, CEC's core group of scientists has expertise in both water quality microbiology and water treatment. This group has used their skills to develop and maintain a strong, applied research-based program to assist clients addressing specific water quality and treatment problems and to contribute to advancing water quality knowledge. In 2004 Mr. Jeffrey Rosen joined CEC, allowing us to expand into the area of environmental information services. Dr. Clancy and Mr. Rosen have a long and distinguished record of working together to address and resolve complex issues related to microbiological challenges in drinking water. They have published over 30 documents on issues related to Cryptosporidium and Giardia, and have worked extensively on development and validation of analytical testing methods, watershed monitoring, and pathogen inactivation.

Water Quality Consulting

Since 1994, Clancy Environmental Consultants, Inc. has provided clients with solutions to specific water-quality-related problems. CEC has devoted their skills to addressing problems that are relatively simple — identification and eradication of iron bacteria biofouling — to very complex — development of testing protocols for full-scale water treatment equipment validation. Environmental Information Services

Clancy Environmental Consultants, Inc. specializes in turning environmental data into information that supports decisions related to the management of environmental resources. We help our clients capture, quality assure, process, manage, and analyze data. We also help our clients design experiments and monitoring programs that allow them to answer specific questions related to environmental problems, including support of information system development. Our main areas of expertise are drinking water, watersheds, and marine monitoring. A number of our projects are described on the projects page.
